Calrec build on Far East sales at Broadcast Asia
Stand: 7A3-04
Calrec Audio’s Offline Editor makes its debut in Asia at Broadcast Asia 2008, alongside the Zeta digital mixing console.
Saving time and maximising the effective use of a console, the Offline Editor enables productions to be configured on a remote PC. Operators can use it on their own PCs to virtually set up an audio console, saving the settings to removable media to be downloaded to the console when needed.
As the Offline Editor mirrors the Calrec console’s own PC application, it can also be utilised as a training tool to familiarise new operators with console functionality without tying up the desk itself.
The Offline Editor is included with all new Calrec consoles and is available as an upgrade for existing customers.
Also on display in Singapore will be the Zeta digital console. With almost 100 Zeta consoles installed worldwide, Zeta is a very cost-effective console meeting the needs of a wide variety of budgets and applications. Zeta has up to 48 dual layer faders and up to 112 channel processing paths.
“This is the first time Calrec has exhibited at Broadcast Asia for 10 years,” says Henry Goodman, Calrec’s Regional Sales Manager for Asia. “We have had tremendous success in Japan, China and Korea, and we are hoping to build on these successes at Broadcast Asia.
“We are also looking for distribution in countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines, and we hope that this show will enable us to do so.”
