Hydra Brings People Together at NAB (Booth #N1012)
Calrec's Hydra audio network makes its NAB debut alongside a full compliment of digital consoles in Las Vegas.
Currently in use networking three Sigma 100 consoles at CNBC's Global Headquarters in Englewood, New Jersey, the Hydra is an advanced networking and Mic Pre-amp system which enables i/o resources to be shared throughout the range of Calrec digital consoles.
Calrec also demonstrate Alpha , Sigma and Zeta 100 consoles, boasting a host of new features designed for NBC Olympics for the 2004 Games in Athens.
New software for NAB includes input gain linking of inputs 1 and 2, automatic, camera-led cross-fading and a re-engineered front end which includes faster boot up and access.
A newly revised metering selection system allows more choice of signals, different types of meter on the same signal, metering of any external input and up to three stereo phase meters.
