NEP Install Calrec Consoles for HD push
Pittsburgh-based remote broadcast specialists NEP have placed orders for a Sigma 100 and an Alpha 100 digital console, to be installed in two brand new Hi Def trailers.
Both consoles will be used as main mixers in the new units. The Alpha has been installed into SS24, while the Sigma is destined for SS26.
NEP installed their first Alpha 100 into SS9 SD in 2002.
With delivery spread over the rest of the year, NEP's quota of HD units will have doubled by the start of 2005.
NEP currently operates five HD units, three of which contain Q2 analogue consoles. The company aims to have a sixth in operation by January 2005.
