Fox Business Channel Chooses Calrec
To meet the needs of a further expansion of the Fox News operations in New York, Calrec is to supply two Sigma audio consoles with Bluefin High Density Signal Processing (HDSP) and a Hydra network that connects the consoles to remote sources. The consoles will join a Sigma console currently installed at Fox News Channel.
John Gluck, Calrec sales director, commented, “We are very pleased to be part of this expansion of Fox’s New York facilities and especially for such an exciting and important project as the Fox Business Channel.”
The order was confirmed at the NAB2007 convention in Las Vegas.
Sigma with Bluefin provides 320 channel processing paths on just one DSP card, with full EQ and dynamics on all channels, groups, and main outputs. These can be configured for up to 52 x full 5.1 surround channels.
