Peter Harrison Comes Home with Calrec
Calrec has strengthened its commitment in Europe with the appointment of Peter Harrison as Sales Manager for the UK.
Peter joined Calrec in November 2004 as Regional Sales Manager in the USA. His move supports Calrec’s intention to provide better service to existing and potential customers in Europe.
Peter’s new role representing the UK allows Sales Manager Dave Letson to assume sole responsibility for mainland Europe, with Sales Executive Jimmy Green taking responsibility for Africa and the Middle East.
“These appointments allow us to concentrate on developing more business in these important regions,” says John Gluck, Calrec Sales and Marketing Director. “Peter is very experienced and well known to UK broadcasters having worked extensively in this industry for 30 years. He is an active member in the IBS, has exceptional knowledge of the market and will be a valuable addition to the European team.”
Peter began his career in audio in 1975 as a Sound Engineer at Border Television before joining Neve as Senior Technical Service Engineer in 1980. Peter spent twelve years with Amek, leaving in 1997 as their Director of Engineering.
