Chas Rowden to Head up European Sales for Calrec
Calrec Audio has announced the appointment of Chas Rowden as Regional Sales Manager for Europe.
Overseeing the development of European business, Rowden has over 25 years’ experience in the professional audio industry. He has a strong sales background which includes tenures at Amek, AMS-Neve and Fairlight, as well as Sales Director for Tyrell.
“Chas has extensive experience with digital audio production products,” said John Gluck, Sales and Marketing Director for Calrec. “He has a proven record of increasing sales for manufacturers directly and by building and managing a network of distributors and integrators. We are very excited to have him on board as Calrec continues to grow and develop.”
Rowden joins a strong European sales team, with Peter Harrison covering the UK as Regional Sales Manager following a four year stint as Sales Manager in the USA. This recent restructuring supports Calrec’s intention to provide better service to existing and potential customers in Europe. Sales Executive Jimmy Green, who is responsible for Africa and the Middle East, will also report to Rowden.
