Calrec Announce Executive Appointments
Calrec Audio today announced two changes at senior management level within the company.
Roger Henderson is appointed to the position of Managing Director of the Company. Roger has many years experience at senior management level in broadcast companies in the UK and the US including Pro-Bel, Chyron and Ascent Media.
“I am extremely pleased to be taking the helm at Calrec,” said Henderson. ”This is a company that has a long history of innovation and market leading in the broadcast audio sector, and with its new technologies is poised to grow much further. As part of the D&M organisation, Calrec is very well set to expand its business into a number of new markets and we are looking forward to exciting future.”
Roger’s appointment follows the acquisition of Calrec by D&M Holdings Inc. in 2007 and completes a succession process for Calrec’s original senior management.
“We believe that Roger’s business management experience coupled with extensive knowledge of the Broadcast market and its customers make him the right person to lead Calrec through its next phase of development,” said former Managing Director Stephen Jagger. “We wish Roger every success in his new position. We are confident that he will lead the company to new successes and continuing growth.“
Calrec also announced the appointment of Henry Goodman as Business Development Manager. As Sales Manager for Calrec in Asia Pacific, Henry has been a key member of the sales and product teams for over 10 years. He has a deep understanding of the company and its products and is sharply focussed on customer relationships and needs.
Henry will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, liaising with the Calrec/D&M global sales companies and the company’s service function.
As a result of the new appointments, Stephen Jagger and John Gluck will move into non-executive roles within the company.
